Buzz brings utilizes his extensive energy background to institute innovative ideas in the energy field, both for conservation and renewable energy. Buzz Thielemann previously owned RHT Energy Solutions and has had a long career in the private energy industry. After retiring from a 27-year career at Pacific Power, where he last served as the Southwest Division Sales Manager for large commercial and industrial customers throughout Oregon and northern California, he founded RHT Energy Solutions in 1998 specifically to resolve energy issues with major industrial and commercial clients. Buzz sold RHT Energy Solutions to Scott Scheuneman in 2015, and is now serving as Consultant for the newly named corporation, RHT Energy. Buzz is also a professional trainer and teaches two courses for the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA): “What Goes Whir” and “Understanding Residential Energy Usage”. Buzz holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon. He is also a Certified Energy Manager and Level One Thermographer, utilizing FLIR infrared camera technology.
Scott Morris – General Manager
Scott serves as General Manager for Oregon Energy Green as well conducts solar assessments and energy audits for commercial and residential utility customers. He is also the lead presenter for the energy efficiency workshops that OEG puts on throughout Oregon every year.
Scott has a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration management and marketing from Southern Oregon University, is a certified Level 1 Thermographer and is currently working on his Energy Management certification. Scott brings 20 years of construction industry and commercial property management/maintenance experience to the OEG team.
Amber Peavyhouse – Project Manager
Amber manages OEG’s energy efficiency outreach program delivery and associated projects for one of Oregon’s largest electric utilities. For more than five years she has developed and successfully executed a large portfolio of community events and workshops throughout Oregon. Amber works directly with utilities and Energy Trust of Oregon to bring energy efficiency information and updated program incentives to rural communities throughout the year. In addition to her busy travel schedule Amber gives back to communities she serves by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Women Build and American Red Cross.
Jason Turner – Energy Anaylist
Jason Turner was born and raised in Southern Oregon. At 18 joined the Army and served 6 years with the 101st. After separating from the Army he become a certified firearms instructor through the NRA and started his own business while attending school full-time. After receiving his associates degree from RCC and attending Southern Oregon University he became employed with OEG. Jason is an energy auditor and a level 1 thermographer and a co-presenter at the many energy efficiency workshops that OEG puts on throughout the state of Oregon every year.
Tom McDowell – Energy Analyst
Tom serves as an, Energy Analyst and Solar Project Manager for Oregon Energy Green. Tom performs energy audits and prepares reports depicting the findings of those audits, as well as recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. In addition, Tom provides expert consulting, review of project designs, and site verifications of completed solar installations to ensure that systems are installed in accordance with code requirements.
Tom is a licensed Supervising Electrician in Oregon and a Certified Level I Thermographer. He is a seasoned electrician who has specialized in electrical design/build projects, high-end residential, small commercial, and industrial electrical installations. Tom has also designed and installed grid connected and stand-alone alternative energy systems.
